It Started With 50 Cent Wings & Beer At Boston Pizza Wasaga Beach
Sounds A Bit Like A Country Song
To be honest I have never been a fan of Boston Pizza in Wasaga Beach. The restaurant just seemed too big and lacked atmosphere, a bit soulless. I prefer smaller, more intimate surrounds.
BUT
Santa’s Coming To Stonebridge Town Centre Wasaga Beach
Visit Santa’s Castle At Stonebridge Town Centre Wasaga Beach
I was at a cheese and wine at My Computer People in Wasaga Beach last night. Mark Crowe the driving force behind the Stonebridge Town Centre development was speaking about the history of the project and where it goes from here.
An incredible amount of thought and work has taken place to create this town centre in a community that is very linear.
Apart from the obvious residential and commercial aspects Stonebridge continually sponsors events for residents and visitors alike to enjoy. Read the rest of this entry »
Grand Opening Wasaga Beach Decorating, Stonebridge Town Centre (Video)
SHOP LOCAL: Benjamin Moore Paints & Living Lighting
Saturday October 29th 2011 11am to 3pm.
Stonebridge Town Centre Wasaga Beach
I met David Hutchinson yesterday the owner of Wasaga Beach Decorating and our Century 21 neighbour in Stonebridge Town Centre.
I can tell you I am a worried man. The light fixtures in the shop are fantastic and my wife will be there for hours with our credit card!!! Having said that the prices are very reasonable. No doubt she wil be enamored with the Benjamin More paints and have ideas on redecorating. I can’t win. Fortunately we don’t need window coverings as they carry an extensive range as well. I presume we don’t need them but you never know.
This weekend is the Grand Opening of Wasaga Beach Decorating. I truly believe we need to shop locally. These businesses need our support to help the whole community thrive. Why not spend some some at the store on Saturday where there will be a charity lunch and a representatives from the window covering manufacturers?
Tim Hortons Is Coming To Stonebridge Town Centre Wasaga Beach
Tim Hortons Opens December 1st At Stonebridge
This will make a lot of people smile. With all due respect to “Coffee Time” which has it’s own loyal supporters, many have asked with they can’t get a Timmies at the east end of town.
Well the wait will soon be over.
Hard to believe that in 8 weeks the project below will be finished but where there’s a way…..

Wasaga Beach “Stonebridge Roots” Free Music Festival (Video)
Final Free Music Festival Of the Summer At Stonebridge Town Centre This Saturday September 17th 2pm to 5pm
Wasaga Beach has enjoyed a summer of free shows at Stonebridge Town Centre: “Arts By The Pond“, Country and Blues Festivals. The finale is this Saturday with the FREE “Stonebridge Roots” Music Festival.
I had the pleasure of meeting with JK Gulley one of the creative forces behind the festivals (as well as a very accomplished performer) in one of the beautiful Stonebridge Town centre model homes. Learn about “Roots” music and the performers on the video below.
It was strange being in front of the camera but Vic and his team from KC Media made me feel at ease and produced a great video.
We all know that Wasaga Beach doesn’t have a Main Street like Collingwood, Elmvale or Stayner. The developers behind Stonebridge though are doing an incredible job of creating a hub, a heartbeat for residents of and visitors to Wasaga Beach. After the debacle of the Beach 1 project in recent years we all need to support success stories like Stonebridge.
These festivals are FREE. Meet your neighbours and friends there; pull up a chair and enjoy.
Maybe I’ll see you Saturday???
“Stonebridge Roots” Free Music Festival
Free Live Music Continues At StoneBridge Town Centre On September 17th
After a summer of entertainment every Wednesday with the “Arts By The Pond” Season and the recent Country & Western and Blue festivals, Stonebridge Town Centre has excelled at hosting live music events. Remember all this is FREE for visitors and residents to enjoy.
It’s not over yet. Saturday September 17th sees the “Stonebridge Roots” Music Festival featuring Fred Eaglesmith, Katherine Wheatley and Juno Award Winner Jimmy Rankin.
Eaglesmith is the only Canadian composer to hold the #1 spot on the American Bluegrass chart for his song, “Thirty Years of Farming.” That’s pretty big kudos for a performer coming to Wasaga Beach. Click here to check out his nifty performance on Letterman last year.
A July In Wasaga Beach
