Canada Day 2010 At Stonebridge Town Centre Wasaga Beach
The Sun Was Shining & Stonebridge Town Centre Hosted A Fantastic Family Canada Day Out In Wasaga Beach
Helicopter Rides, Face Painting, BMX Displays, Reptiles and Bouncy Castles. The whole family had something to enjoy on Canada Day.
The management are really making a huge effort to make Stonebridge the “Centre” of Wasaga Beach and after the success of Snowman Mania, Canada Day was equally impressive.
Thanks to Chris for the photos.

And They Said That Wasaga Beach Wasn’t Open For The Holiday Weekend!
Just received this photo from @SithDave. He’s at the Dard on Beach 1, Wasaga Beach.
All over the web this week there have been stories about Wasaga Beach being “closed” for the May 24 long holiday weekend. More disconcertingly the local newspaper, The Wasaga Sun, ran a front page story with a pretty depressing photo under this headline:
“Strip strives to look alive for the long weekend. It is believed the strips’ three bars will not be open by the long weekend”
WRONG!!
Dave was enjoying a beer at The Dard when he took this photo and it looks nice and busy to me. Weather is great and Wasaga Bach is open for business
Even the Wasaga Beach Dome is up but no news yet on what events will be taking place. Last year it wasn’t ready till late July.
Only Mad Dogs & Englishmen, Beach 1 Wasaga Beach
The sun may be shining at Beach 1 in Wasaga Beach but how cold must that water be?
I decided to enjoy a slice of pizza and a pop for lunch at Beach 1 today in Wasaga Beach. The sun was shining and the sky beautiful; the snow on the Blue Mountains was crystal clear. It was though on 3 or 4 degrees.
Noel Coward sang about “Mad Dogs And Englishmen.” This hardy Canadian was in the water!
