Day 353: JRC Paralegal Of Wasaga Beach
“NEVER PAY A TRAFFIC TICKET BEFORE TALKING TO ROGER COULTER”
Roger lives in the next street to me. I’ve said hello to him and his wife and passed the time of day when we’ve bumped in to each other. But I had no idea what he did for a living.
Fast forward to the recent Wasaga Beach Business Show and there was Roger sitting at one of the booths and this is what he does:
“JRC PARALEGAL is owned and operated by Roger Coulter, B.A. Roger is licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada. He is located in Wasaga Beach and serves Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Barrie and surrounding areas. His specialty is defense of Highway Traffic Act offences. He was a Police Officer for over 30 years, and has an extensive knowledge of provincial statutes. He is a former Prosecutor and also lectured on the Highway Traffic Act at a community college.
You can be assured of the very best representation. Your satisfaction is his ultimate goal.
For a free consultation and quote, call JRC Paralegal at 705-429-3189.”
Summer’s coming and as we are all out and about a lot more enjoying what Wasaga Beach has to offer, then a consultation with Roger may be necessary.
In no way would I condone poor or dangerous driving but there can be times when you need some expert legal advice about traffic offenses. Now you know where to go in Wasaga Beach to find this and continue to enjoy “things to do.”
Day 352: Wasaga Beach Art In The Library
4 Local Artists Exhibit At Wasaga Beach For 3 Days In April
The number of talented artists that live in the Wasaga Beach area is quite amazing. On April 14th, 15th, 16th & 17th the Wasaga Beach Library will hold an Art In The Library exhibit.
I’ve always been a bit indifferent to the “art world” but have recently made the effort to take an interest, especially with such a local connection here in Wasaga Beach. It has been well worth it and I can highly recommend paying the library a visit to view these artists in a very relaxed atmosphere.

Day 348: Echostone of Wasaga Beach (Video)
Another Inspiring Wasaga Beach Business
This week I had the pleasure of meeting up with Faye & Ron Ego, the owners of “Echostone” here in Wasaga Beach. I had heard about the business before; their appearance on “The Dragons Den” and Ron speaking at a “Breakfast At the Beach” event spring to mind.
However it was last weeks Business Show that piqued my interest as Faye was interviewed on 97.7 The Beach Radio and she was also booked for Rogers TV. Time to find out more about them.
Faye and Ron love Wasaga Beach. Their unique business in a very sensitive area adds another dimension to the artistic community we have here in Wasaga Beach. “Echostone works with local artisans” says Faye and when you hear her talk talk it is obviously more than just a commercial venture.
Whilst at their home I took the opportunity of taking some photos of the beach from which Faye especially draws inspiration; it’s so easy to take it for granted.

Day 344: “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown” With The Clearview Community Theatre
The Stayner Community Centre Hosts A Day In The Life Of The Peanuts Characters

From Thursday, April 7th to Saturday, April 9th 2011 Clearview Community Theatre presents a musical adaptation of “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown”, a day in the life of the Peanuts characters at the Stayner Community Centre.
All tickets are general admission, priced at $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Tickets are on sale at Nifty’s on Main Street in Stayner or by calling 428-2790.
“Based on the Charles Schultz’ popular comic strip, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown chronicles the events in a day in the life of Charlie Brown and his imaginative beagle Snoopy. Originally, composer/lyricist/librettist Clark Gesner had no intentions of turning his “Peanuts” songs into a stage musical, that is until producer Arthur Whitelaw convinced him to work up a theatrical version which they presented at a tiny East Village theatre where it remained for four years.
You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown opened at the Theatre 80 St. Marks on March 7, 1967 with a cast that featured Bill Hinnant (Snoopy), Gary Burghoff (Charlie Brown), Reva Rose (Lucy), Karen Johnson (Patty), Bob Balaban (Linus), and Skip Hinnant (Schroeder). The production lasted 1597 performances and spawned six touring companies between 1967 and 1971. A major Broadway revival in 1999 added two new songs (“My Philosophy” and “Beethoven Day”) and featured 23 new vignettes written by “Peanuts” creator Charles Schultz. Although this production didn’t last long, it did win Tony Awards for two of its stars: Roger Bart (Snoopy) and Kristin Chenoweth (Sally–who didn’t even exist until director Michael Mayer got his hands on the Clark Gesner musical!)”
