Wasaga Beach 2016 Real Estate Sales Figures; June Update
Only 78 Homes Sold In June 🙂
Joking aside the Wasaga Beach Real Estate Market is in completely unknown waters at the moment.
2 factors seem to be driving the market”
- Out of town buyers.
- Lack of homes for sale.
With the low inventory and larger number of buyers there is a “prefect storm” for home sellers.
It is noticeable that a a significant number of Wasaga Beach residents are not listing as they can’t find anything to buy. This keeps the number of homes for sale down.
With people cashing in on their GTA homes and the baby Boomers hitting the market there is unprescidented competition for any listings. Hence the 87% sales to listing ratio in June.
Prices are moving aggressively upwards with the demand and multiple offers are quite common.
I can only repeat that now is the time to sell and if you want to buy be prepared to act fast.
