Wasaga Beach 2016 Real Estate Sales Figures; February Update
Just One Word For The Wasaga Beach Real Estate Market: “HOT”
To be honest I’m running out of ways to say the market is busy.
48 homes sold in Wasaga Beach in February; nearly a 100% increase on the 25 that sold in February 2015.
For the first 2 months of this year sales are up 80% on 12 months earlier and 2015 was a busy year.
Added to the mix listings are down 15% on 2015. There is a distinct lack of home for sale especially below $350,000. Buyers are making offers quickly as they fear loosing the home and listings are selling. Before last year it was a buyers market and people took their time making a decision. Not anymore.
There are more buyers from out of town and the military posting season is just about to start.
If you want to SELL your home, there hasn’t been a better time over the last few years.
If you want to BUY please don’t hesitate in making an offer.
The 12 month average price is up 9% and 65% of listings are selling. So the figures do not lie.
