“Breakfast On The Beach” With BT In Wasaga Beach
This Friday July 9th Breakfast Television will be coming live from Beach Area 1 Wasaga Beach.
From 6am to 9am:
- Meet Jennifer & Frankie from BT.
- Win prizes from area attractions, resorts, hotels, restaurants, golf course and more.
- FREE South Georgian Bay Taste Trail featuring are restaurants, foodie shops and local produce.
- Exhibitors on South Georgian Bay Passport Trail including Scandinave Satellite Beach-front Spa, Scenic Caves Nature Adventures and more.
Only a few weeks ago summer started with doom and gloom over the future of Wasaga Beach. The local Wasaga Sun newspaper printed a highly depressing picture of Beach Area 1 just before May 2-4 with an article wondering if the Beach would be open. This news spread all around the internet.
People seemed to forget the beach itself is the major attraction and huge crowds visited over than holiday weekend to enjoy the tremendous weather. This has just continued and the beach was packed over the Canada Day holiday weekend.
Now Breakfast Television is visiting. Wasaga Bech is alive and well or to paraphrase Mark Twain:
“The reports of Wasaga Beach’s death are greatly exaggerated.”
