The Town Of Wasaga Beach & Stonebridge Town Centre Are Hosting A Canada Day Celebration for 2010

Stonebridge Town Centre has become the main ‘downtown” of Wasaga Beach.

Snow Mania and Arts By The Pond have proved that unlike the company behind the proposed Beach 1 developments, Stonebridge organise and deliver great events.

Canada Day will be another FREE  day of fun for the community:

Opening Ceremonies 9:00am
Kick off the day by singing O’Canada alongside the Wasaga Beach Prime Time Club and fellow residents and tourists. Then stop by to say hello to your Town Council and enjoy a piece of birthday cake.

‘Reptiles of the World’ Show 9:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm

This dynamic, interactive show will include pythons, alligators, lizards, huge turtles and tortoises and more. Get up close and personal with these misunderstood animals.

BMX Expert Stunt Show 12:00pm & 3:00pm

BMX athletes will repeatedly charge the box jump at full speed, propel themselves to unbelievable heights, and execute a variety of aerial maneuvers that will leave you breathless!

Water Games with the WBFD 9:00am – 4:00pm

Come beat the heat with the Wasaga Beach Fire Department.

Build Your Own Rain Barrel Workshop 10:00am – 12:00pm

The Environment Network will be on location conducting a build your own rain barrel workshop. Please pre-register at www.environmentnetwork.org or call (705) 446-0561

Marketplace 9:00am – 4:00pm

Looking for that unique item you just can’t find in stores? Come visit our one of a kind Marketplace and let your imagination guide you!

Inflatable’s 9:00am – 4:00pm

We have the largest and bounciest castle available. Come bounce your heart out! Not into bouncy castles? Challenge your family and friends in our huge obstacle course!

Kid Zone 9:00am – 4:00pm

Entertain your toddler with tunnels to crawl through, activities at our water tables, small climb and slides and much more!

Sony Event Bus 9:00am – 4:00pm

The Sony event bus will showcase the latest and greatest that Sony has to offer with interactive games, Blu-Ray movies, handheld systems are more! The Sony Event Bus is brought to the community by EB Games.

Airbrushing and Body Painting 9:00am – 4:00pm

Always wanted a tattoo? Come get your fix with our temporary airbrushing and body painting. With over 50 designs to choose from we have something for everyone!

Scenic Helicopter Rides 9:00am – 4:00pm

Come see Wasaga Beach like you’ve never seen it before. For $40.00 per person your helicopter ride will let you experience Wasaga Beach from new heights. With spectacular views and sights this is a must do for the whole family!   (Weather permitting)

Food & Beverage Tent 9:00am – 4:00pm

Give your taste buds a treat. Bring your appetite and visit the food and beverage vendors located on site.

Fireworks Celebration 10:00pm

What would Canada Day be without fireworks? Come see the sky light up with extravagant fireworks that will have you oooh’ing and awww’ing for days.
