Title
Day 46: Fancy A Great Tasting Burger? Try “Harvey’s” At The Stonebridge Town Centre.
Day 46 of 365.
Fast food tends to be fast & average. Not at Harvey’s in Wasaga Beach!
As Jimmy Buffet sang :
“I like mine with lettuce and tomato
Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes
Big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer”
Unfortunately Harvey’s can’t provide the beer but they do serve a great tasting burger. McDonald’s, Burger King etc have there place. A quick burger and you know what you are going to get. Am I the only one though that still feels hungry after a visit?
At Harvey’s there is a bit more care. The food is freshly cooked and then the server will add whatever you want so Jimmy would be happy.
Now “Mission Statements” and the like; what does this have to do with burgers? I find them a bit pointless. What business is going to state “our aim is to give you average food in a quite clean environment by an unsmiling server”?
Being a chain Harvey’s has a poster on the wall stating their “Promise.” The first heading caught my eye “Greet.” And this is exactly what happened. As I was choosing Ehab the owner had a chat and made a suggestion and SMILED. The lady then adding the onions etc was equally obliging.
Now I am very big on service and believe whatever business you are in then service should be the number one priority. Even when just buying a burger being greeted, a few words and smile make it a very pleasant experience. An did I mention the food is GREAT.
Pop into Harvey’s next time you are near the Stonebridge Town Centre.
