“Black Harvest” Returns To Collingwood October 30th

Collingwood Downtown will be  “alive” with haunted ghost walks & trick or treating on All Hallows Eve

BLACK HARVEST returns to Collingwood Downtown on Friday October 30th, 2009. The streets of haunted downtown will be scary indeed!

CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY CENTRE – 4 to 6PM
Games and prizes for the little ones! Located in front of the Federal Building (just south of Loblaws on Hurontario Street.)

CHILDREN’S COSTUME CONTEST – 4:30PM
Prizes for the best costume in various age categories! Located in front of the Federal Building (just south of Loblaws on Hurontario Street.)

TRICK OR TREATING – 4PM TO 6PM
Trick or Treating for the little ones throughout the downtown streets. This is always a great time for the children!

ZOMBIE WALK – 6PM
The second annual Zombie Walk is a real highlight of Black Harvest! You’re invited to dress up as a Zombie and take part in the WALK OF THE UNDEAD from Hume Street to First Street. Just show up by 5:45pm at the corner of Hume and Hurontario Streets, by the Royal Bank.

HAUNTED WALKS – STARTING AT 7PM
Haunted walks will depart from the Federal Building every 1/2 hour. Register at the Information Tent in front of the Federal Building and then get ready to take a free guided haunted walk throughout the downtown streets. You’ll hear the tales of Collingwood’s haunted past, complete with scary stories of the many ghosts that inhabit the downtown.
