The Wrong Way & The Right Way To Add Value To Your Home

Not all upgrades are created equal

Without doubt some upgrades will add far more value and desirability to your home than others. Buyers purchase a home with emotion and then justify it with logic. With this in mind sellers will get more “Bang For Their Buck” if they concentrate on these upgrades:

• Kitchen cabinets
• Hardwood floor
• New windows
• Removing walls to open up space
• Finishing the basement
• Kitchen appliances
• New shingles
• New bathroom taps and plumbing
• New bathroom tiles

Notice how all these upgrades are instantly obvious when a potential buyer views? When buying a home the all important “feel good” factor is critical. Buyers will “feel” the home is cared for home and is worth more.They will also be pleased that they will not have the expense of these upgrades.

Wasaga Beach and Collingwood have a large number of “older” properties. The right upgrades can vastly increase their value.
