Wasaga Beach Fest: June 27th & 28th

Wasaga Beach celebrates the arrival of summer with a party – the 4th Annual Wasaga Beach Fest! June 27th and 28th, 2009. It’s FREE!

Located in front of BEACH AREA 1 on Lakeshore between Banana’s Beach Club and Dardanella Beach Bar.

Featuring a  wide range of musical styles:

• Festival closers Fall and Divide led by local Canadian Idol star Drew Wright.
• Keeping with the Canadian Idol theme, Saturday headliner and former winner Ryan Malcolm’s Low Level Flight.
• Ska-Punk Gangstas – The Johnstones.
• The memorable melodies and sweet voice of Indie Soul artist Sean Jones.
• The 2007 Indie Music Awards winner for “Best Live Act”, KC Roberts will be laying down his infectious mix of Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, Jungle, and Rock.
• The first major festival appearance of new stars on the horizon, Streamlined, a power trio with pop sensibilities.
• The “Big Voice – Big Sound” of 2007 Indie Music Awards nominee (“Best Blues Band”) Erin McCallum.
• The genre tripping Cobra Kings.
• The contagious melodies of the up-and-coming Jack D.
• Risqué – big band R&B.
